Collector Figures
Page Two

This is a little vignette that I modeled after a painting by Louise Perrin (Steve Perrin's wife ..... yes, THAT Steve Perrin!) called "And what ELSE did you bring home from the Crusades ..... DEAR?"

Both ladies' clothing is entirely paper, modeled on nude castings. And no, the belly dancer isn't wearing what she really would have then, but the cabaret costume enhances the gag.

All three figures are 54mm lead, with small parts from Historex and others. The flagstones are carved in situ from modeling compound.

The Lady of the Castle does not look pleased .......

But her Lord seems to be ......

.... and the new addition is something to look at indeed!

A small melee circa 13th Cent. Europe. This uses various figures and pieces from the parts box.
The Elastolin horse (70mm) helps to make the point of the power of the mounted knight. 54mm

A better look at that mounted knight!

All the mail was hand-engraved, and all straps that were actually used were added to
the equipment. The mail and armor is slightly rusted, and has appropriate battle-damage.
