Ever since I got my hands on a copy of Bob Bard's catalog back in the mid-1950s I have been in love with
the collector type lead (and plastic) figures. Here's a few examples of what I've done in the way of painting,
conversion and other such things.
I mostly paint with acrylics, using enamel for the metals and the occasional addition of regular water-colors.
I don't solder, so epoxy and cyanoacrylate are used as adhesives, with body-putty filler and cut paper for belts,
cloaks, flags, pennons and the like.
An explanation of how the ground was done is on my Scenery page.
